Did you know that December 18th is International Migrants Day?
It was designated by the UN in 2000 – chosen because on that date in 1990 the UN General Assembly adopted the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (click here to read the Convention).

Radio 1812 logoRadio 1812 is an innovative global radio project from the NGO December 18. On December 18th each year, radio stations around the world broadcast special programmes for International Migrants Day. This site has been set up to highlight and bring together the contributions from the UK.
